We are a welcoming community formed in Christ, committed to sharing his love with others –  

             with feet that carry us out into the world, with hands that serve, and with hearts In fellowship and faith.

WHAT WE DO

Our church has a strong foundation, and new and long-time members who graciously give our time and talents, and who have a strong desire to deeper our spiritual faith. We strive to cultivate the relationships through worship, mission, and fellowship and use them to build the future of our church, as we remain prayerfully open to God's faithful direction. 

 

OUR COMMUNITY

We welcome people of all cultures and ethnicities who hope to find a spiritual home. We have opened our doors to local community groups such as the Hobbyists Men's Group and Boy Scouts, and worshiping communities which include an Arabic Church and a Korean fellowship group.

JOIN US

Walk in any door on a Sunday morning at First Presbyterian Church and you will be warmly welcomed by greeters and uplifted by anthems and songs by our Chancel, Cherub and Handbell choirs. Many of our members think of this church as their second home.

 

We value our children's spiritual growth. Our weekly Sunday school has evolved into an exciting, creative, Bible based rotational program. We hold a Vacation Bible School each summer and we have a nursery school, regarded as one of the best in town. Both of these programs are an outreach to the local community.

We view pastoral care and mission as an integral part of how we live our faith. We visit our home-bound members, we pray for one another through prayer partners, our caring cooks deliver meals to those in need, we volunteer once a month to cook and serve at a homeless shelter, we donate Christmas gifts to children whose parents are in prison.
